Hi im really new to this topic , but i was asked to activate the caller id function of a NEC SL1000 with 4 lines. I followed the tutorials and on the option Analog Trunk i checked the enable caller id option on each line. But when we receive phone calls only the fourth line gets the number displayed on the phone. And the funny part is that only when the third one is busy the fourth get activated and shows the number. If there is no other occupied with a client all the telephones show the message "LINE "X" (where x is a number from 1 to 3 ") RING". Is there any parameter im missing to configure and be able to get the caller id in all the lines no matter what. Any help will be deeply appreciated.

Sorry for my engligh i tried my best to make myself understandable.

May be issue is on the service provider's side.
Remove 1st, 2nd & 3rd trunk lines out of the mother board.
Then remove 4th line and connect it to Trunk port 1.
Make a call to that line by your mobile phone.
If CLI is ok, it means system side is ok. Problem is on service provider's side. Then you will have to request CLI facility for 1st, 2nd & 3rd trunk lines, from the service provider.
If CLI is not ok, you have to check the system side.
