Hi

Does anyone know how to active service code 42 which allows a user to dial *42# and the "B" Party number to restrict caller ID on a per call basis?

ALEX offers no help that I can see, other than it needs to be activted by command?

Thanks

Which Software? Up to BC10 there were two Patch-Packages. First enables setting the servicecode, second enables the function. And: Provider must allow it. Situation in BC11 is not clear for me. But in BC12 Ericsson maybe has implemented this function generally for all markets.

CLIR per call (*42#) is generalized in BC12 yes .
It's a generalization in BC12 of a market unique function
from netherlands and denmark as far as i've found out.

Have you tried to set
D4 in ADC to 2 for digital extensions as ADC=xxx2xxxxxxxx
Or
D3 in ADC to 2 for analogue extensions as ADC=xx2xxxxxx
