Real estate office currently has a 6x16 DR5.1 with startalk mini, and was looking for CID, so we installed a C6. The manager then informed me that they want to have the CID retrievable only on the phone that the caller transfers to through the AA (whether they leave a vmail or not). So, someone calls in, presses extension 233 for "Bob", but decides not to leave a message. They want "Bob" to be able to see the # of the person that called in but hung up before leaving a message. They want it to register on "Bob's" phone, so that the right agent can call the person back.

Pretty sure that can't be done with a c6, but can we get a CICS/CP100 do that?

Thanks!

You can do it on that one, its called Call Log.
You have a pool of 160 or so, this means 16 phones could have 10 slots or 2 phones 80....what ever you want to give the set.
Option 9 under Administration.
User Guide will tell you more such as what type of call to log and the feature code.

I can't believe the customer sprung for the C6 instead of just slapping a CICS or MICS in there, unless you gave them a sweet price on it? I know the last time I purchased a C6/M8 for a few more bucks you can get a newer Norstar w/ CLID cards. Anyway as stated above by curly you want to make that ext. a call log set and program it to log all calls.
