I have a strange situation after I changed carriers. I have a 1888 number and a 1678 number programmed as "call forward all" on 2 exts. The problem that I have is the inbound caller ID which will for some odd reason give me the area code then our prefix and then follow with the actual number that is calling. So a total of 16 digits on display instead of the local 10 digits. I know this is a problem with ACNP sending the Area Code and NNX that's programmed to the outgoing route. If I delete ACNP the call is perfect.
My problem is that when the ext with the 678 is called, the call goes thru but the caller id shows 16 digits, the NPA-NNX of the ACNP and the real 10 digit number. The call to the ext with the 1888 number on it gets blocked from the carrier, obviously because of the ACNP rule. Is there a way to stop sending that (ACNP) on a tandom call?
