Caller ID Panasonic TES824

Good morning to you all.
I'm sorry if I'm in a wrong forum or thread or asking foolish questions.

I got a TES 824 PBX to use for intercom for a building.

There are no CO line connected to the PBX.

I want room names e.g Kitchen to show when they're called but only the extension number shows on the telephone.

1. Is it compulsory to get a programming telephone to configure the PBX along with the KX-TE maintenance console, or can the maintenance console do the job alone?


I'VE done the quick setup and the extensions names on the caller ID on the maintenance console (I might be doing the wrong things though)

I will appreciate all advice and suggestions to solve this problem.
