caller id on slt on 9600c pbx

how do i get a 'generic' caller id box to work on the analog single lines on a fujitsu 9600c PBX. all the units ive tried from 'walmart/radioshaak' do not display anything when incoming calls come in. however phone works fine and if i upgrade to digital line displays fine on fujitsu phone but cant afford that expence, caller id boxes are much cheaper! any ideas how to get display to work on analog phones or seperate ID boxes? CID is set to y

Most other systems (avaya definity, nortel meridian option series) require a specific kind of analog line card to provide the callerID to an SLT. I've never seen this on a Fujitsu, so maybe someone else can shed some light on the subject.

You need B8RLCA line cards to support CLID on slt sets
