ok one of our guys has caller ID on his personal line.the line goes through the system and to his phone but for some reason the caller ID info doesn't show up on his phone.I have a Merlin Legend R7 V14.2. his phone is a ETR-18d and is plugged into a 016-etr card.Would his caller ID work if he had an MLX phone instead.That line is programmed with called ID from our local telco.

Caller ID on Legend??

Caller ID will not transmit through the system unless the line is plugged into a Caller ID capable module like a 408 GS/LS MLX-ID module or an 800 GS/LS-ID module. If you have the line plugged into a regular 408 or 800 module - no Caller ID info will be transmitted.
