Here is my problem.
I have a client with a Legend R7 that has 2 PRI's. The caller ID does come through on the MLX stations. I have a DID setup as a calling group to service a modem bank for specialized applications. They need to get CID info out an analog port for a new application. I know from a previous post that CID does not go out an 012 or 016. Is this also the case if using Magix software? Also what about using the MFM port of a DP phone? Can you get caller id through that?
So If I need CID to a analog port, what are my options? Can Magix support or do I have to move into a definity?

As far as I know - Magix will not support Caller ID on a regular analog phone/device. Not sure about an adjunct off a 4400 series digital phone. I know it will not work with a TransTalk unless it is hooked up to a TDL card - it will not transmit caller ID off an ETR card. However, I believe that Partner ETR phones will show caller ID when connected to the "enhanced" ports on an ETR card. With Definity, of course, this is not an issue.

You can also get Caller ID on an analog station with IP Office...

There are NO MFM's on 4400 series phones. The adjuncts exist in memory, and are useable for phantom extension numbers, but cannot be physically connected.

So, yeah, you need to look towards Definity or IP Office
