We have a user on CM 5.1 who is doing some integration with Microsoft Lync.
A. When an external call rings to or are transferred to a Lync user the caller ID is carried through to the Microsoft Lync device/application perfectly.
B. When an external call is covered to or rings to the attendant console an then is transferred to a Microsoft Lync device/application, the caller ID information does not carry forward.
We have observed one other related item. When a call is answered as in "A" (above) on a standard Avaya phone the caller ID is immediately displayed. When a call is answered as in "B" (above) on a standard Avaya phone the caller ID is displayed upon completion of the attd transfer. While both deliver the caller ID, there is a slight difference in the timing of the delivery. We are not using SIP. The Lync integration is with IP/QSIG trunks.
Thank you for any and all input.
