Caller ID on a M2008 is not showing.

So I got thrown into the phone system here at work without knowing any of it so I am sorry if I am missing details.

I recently had a user move offices. I transferred his number from a 2008 that did not have a display to his new office and his 2008 phone in the new office has a display.. His display does not show the incoming callers information. Can someone explain how to get the caller ID programed onto his new phone?

Thanks in advance. If you have any recommendations as far as readings or tutorials go for a new user please let me know.
