Hi Everyone,

I think I'm going nuts too, but let's take a look at this. I go into Lines>Lines/Trunk> and there is no provision for CLID adjustment. Now, the card seems to be installed fine, but I'm not sure if it recognizes it as a CI card. The LEC swears Caller ID is on, and I'm going to test that right at the blocks today, but I still can't see any spots in all of the programming to enable CLID on any of the sets, except in I think it was Call Services>set ablilities>Display First....

Help!

What you need to do is log into the phone system
when you see Terminals and Sets press show enter your first set number: then press show then press next until you see Telco Features - press show this is where you need to set up the CLID information - the lines must be applied to the phones before caller id will work. Sometimes you have to turn on the call log before it will show the caller id,
Hope this helps

On the MICS you will only be able to set the caller id to one phone display before answer (this is done at Lines->trunk/line data->CLID set: )the set you enter here will display the caller id data as soon as it is available as long as that phone also has the line ringing at it. Under Terminals&Sets->Telco Features->1st Display: you will have the option of what displays first on the phone (Caller Name, Caller Number or Line number the call came in on). These will only display after the call is answered for all the other phones except the phone identified under lines. With the CI card in place you have no other programming that you would need to do.
