Caller ID number not being passed to SIP trunk provider

I have an outbound caller ID issue that I'm hoping someone can help me figure out. Here is my setup:

UCx50e
SIP trunk from Nextiva which can handle 10+ calls and has 10 different DIDs assigned to it.

I am attempting to set the caller id number on outbound calls based on the extension the call is made from. The caller ID number should be set to one of the DIDs assigned to my trunk. For whatever reason, this information is not making it to the sip provider (nextiva). Since they are not receiving the information, they are by default assigning all calls the first caller id number on the account. I have also tried to set the caller id number for the trunk and have been unsuccessful with this. I have been working with their support team and they assure me they are not stripping the caller id out and replacing it.

Here is my config for the trunk:

Username=XXXXXXXXX
Type=friend
Session-timers=refuse
Secret=XXXXXXXXX
Qualify=no
nat=no
Maxexpirey=3600
Insecure=invite
Host=trunking.voipdnsservers.com
Fromdomain=trunking.voipdnsservers.com
Fromuser=XXXXXXXX
Dtmfmode=auto
Disallow=all
Defaultexpirey=60
Context=from-pstn-toheader
Canreinvite=no
Allow=ulaw
sendrpid=yes

I had a similar issue with the incoming DIDs not being recognized by the UCX and after much googling, I found out that I needed to change Context=from-trunk to Context=from-pstn-toheader. Is there something similar that I am missing for the outbound caller id?

Thanks for any and all suggestions!!!!

This works for me
In Extension Settings
set the Outbound CID for that extension to the desired DID
In Outbound Route
leave the Route CID blank
In SIP Trunk
Outbound CID can be set to your main DID or left blank

Thanks for the suggestion. I have tried that combination, as well as setting the CID for the route with all others blank and setting it for the trunk with the route and extension blank. The sip providers tells me that they are not getting the caller id information from the ucx for any of these combinations. The tech sent me this text with little to no explanation what it meant:

From: "CNAM"<sip:147909748@trunking.voipdnsservers.com>;tag=as4461c24e
To: <sip:14802262380@trunking.voipdnsservers.com>

To: <sip:14802262380@192.168.101.239>
From: <sip:16186844961@208.73.144.110>;tag=3652707149-397469

The only thing I recognize in there is the 16186844961 which is the default caller id that all of my outgoing calls are getting and the 147909748 which is my device registration number for the trunk with the provider.

I'm still stumped as to what I need to do to get the correct caller id in the correct location so it is passed along to the person being called.

I found this article : Link Which essentially says that the caller id is being set by the fromuser=xxxxxxxxx where xxxxxxxx is my account/device id for my trunk with Nextiva. I tried removing the fromuser field and none of my calls went through. I'm not sure where to go now...

I've not used Nextiva as a provider. Might contact their support and ask how to override the default CID.
