Have partner acs r6 the with caller id problem. if caller id shows up on number is not in correct format and the name will have funky characters like when baud rate is incorrect. It only show up on 1 call of many callles If I take a cordless phone the caller id is perfect. if I take there fax line and plug it into co ports 1 2 or 3 the caller id on acs works correct. The phone company has been out and tested with no problem found the have check the programming 5 time and reprogrammed it 2 times. still same problem. tried 2 other acs same problem, defaulted system same problem. Doses any one know the type of caller id the acs is looking for? The Central office is very close to location but the one line works.

You need to setup a "meet" with your Telco again. This ticket has now become a repeat which gives you a little more leverage. Hopefully, after you re-create to him/her what you just described in your post, They can escalate to get a fix. I am assuming these are not digital lines from a broadband provider (cox, time warner, comcast?) If you are near an AT&T or Verizon C.O., you could take a milliamp reading on the lines to ensure they are not over 32 milliamps. I would compare the milliamp readings between your fax line that works fine and the 3 lines that are inconsistant. However, AT&T does not recognize milliamps as a viable test. If the lines are "hot" over 32 milliamps, you could purchase some attenuators to bring the lines down if the Telco jacks you around.

Yes they have escalated they stated that the tested the pairs, changed 1 paid checked for back taps or bridge taps. They are copper lines they are sending out another tech for meet on Monday. I cant find any info on what type of caller ID the partner system is looking for the butt set I tested with will take any of the 3 types

The Partner ACS was designed to recognize a Caller ID signal that adheres to Bellcore standards...such as what you find with a Lucent 5E or Nortel DMS100. Consumer grade telephones tend to work with a wider range of signals.
