Great group!!!!!

I am testing a system at home to install at a friends business.

Here's what I have:

Slot 00: Merlin Legend CKE3 R7.0 V12.0
Slot 01: 408 GS/LS-ID card
System Inventory shows:
Board Type: 408 GLM-U
Hardware Vintage: 11
App Vintage: 24
Firmware Vintage: 42
Slot 02: 012 Card w/ Ring Gen.

1 Loop Start Line with Caller ID w/Name verified working.

Systems works just as expected except, when a call comes, no caller id shows up.

I have tried it with Trunk 801 having LS-ID Delay both on and off with now luck.

Any Suggestions?

Thanks,
Shanon

The problem mostlikely is telco. But, if 1 trunk works (For example 801), then swap the trunks around and test each individually one in port 801. This way you can narrow it down to being telco. Are these Broadview lines??

I've seen scenario's with Broadview lines that will only send caller ID through if you call from another broadview line. Weird, I know.

How about this for a test:

A caller ID box or caller ID capable Phone ahead of the system.

If that works, then the problem is with the switch, if not, probably a problem with the vendor.

Are you using headset buttons on the phone? That causes it to not come to the phone the normal way too

Thanks guys,

Caller Id from the Telco works great. Since this is currently at my house, I have 2 or 3 phones with Caller Id that work get the number and name.

Just doesn't come through the Legend.

Is there somewhere you turn Caller Id on on the Trunk? Beside "LS-ID Delay"? Are there any other settings?

Thanks a bunch.

Your 408 GS/LS MLS has to be 408 GS/LS-ID MLX Your board does not say ID on it does it? It looks like we all over looked it in your first post

Don

The sticker on the board says "408 GS/LS-MLX". It was sold to me saying it was a "408 GS/LS-ID".

When I look at it in inventory, SPM tells me it's a "408 GLM-U".

I have another board that's not supposed to me Caller Id capable and SPM tells me its a "408 GS/LS-MLX".

Does this make sense?

When a call comes in the operator MLX shows "NO CALLER ID". I know its working because an analog phone sharing the line shows the info for the same phone call? I have also disconnected all phones except the PBX with no luck?

Am I missing something?

If it doesn't have the "-ID" suffix on the manufacturer label, you don't have Caller ID support. Probably need to discuss with the person who sold you the board.
