I am testing a voice to text (Mutare) mailbox. The DID (G3r, 8720 switch) is programmed to call forward remote to the mailbox. If a DID on the switch calls the forwarded DID the CID is displayed with the transcribed message; however, if a call comes in from outside the switch, the CID is not passed with the transcribed message. Instead it displays a bogous CID programmed for stations requiring their CID to be blocked. Is this an issue with outgoing trunk configuration?

What's the integration to the Mutare box? QSIG PRI/H323?
Normally, you'd use a coverage path which handles the treatment of sending a call to voicemail when unavailable. Depending on your voicemail integration and whether you're using coverage or call-forwarding, you might get different results.
