We have a Merlin Magix 3.0 and a T-1 PRI. Since the PRI and the turn-on of an order for PSI everyone has had Caller ID except our console. She has the following on her console:
Coverage DID#

Show Number Next Page

There is an arrow after DID#. When you press that button the incoming trunk (channel) for the T-1 is displayed. The console is extension 2200 but "does not have a phone". Is there any way to get caller ID on the console? I tried dial plan routing where I delete all the digits (they are sending 2771) and add 2200 but that didn't work. Also does Dial Plan Routing apply in sequence so that if there was no dial plan for 0 and 1 and I made 2 the dial plan for sending 2771 to 2200 would there be no dial plan routing because of the 2 blank dial plans? If I make the console match 2771 what happens to more than one call? When I "gave" the console extension a phone she could only get one call at a time. Basically I am asking what will screw up trying to get Caller ID on the console? TIA.

It shouldn't matter what order the dialplan routing is in. It will, however, make a big difference if there is conflicting information in the tables. I ran into an issue recently where the DID to the console wasn't coming through and I checked and noticed that there was an old entry in the tables that was deleting 4, but not adding anything. So, anytime a call came in for the console, it passed it through with DID#? because it didn't know what to do with the call. I would recommed doing a print of your PRI (if you use winspm) because that is the best way to see if there are any conflicts.
