I have a CICS R6.0 w/ call pilot 100
2 questions

Can ne1 tell me how to get CID name to display first
I have Name first programmed under (Term & Sets) (Telco features)

Cant pass CID info from AA
I have vmail ext numbers programmed for Caller ID yes(Term & Sets) (Telco features)
 
Well sounds to me like its not your KSU that has a problem....more like your Telco company. As long as you have Caller ID programmed to yes and there isn't anything conflicting with it like Phantom DDI extensions on auto answer and MARP then you should be fine. Although, i am English mate so there may be a slight difference. But definately ring them and check that you have it enabled.
 
Also, make sure that your AA is not answering the lines on the first ring. Caller ID comes in after the first ring.
(Between first and second ring)

I have aa answer on night services immediately.
Calls transfered to extensions.
no caller id

ne way to make it happen?

Day mode calls ring on 2 phones x 221 and 224.

i need the night services for aa.

ne suggestions?

The lines have to be assigned and ringing on the set to be able to see call info. when it comes in. You can hit the FEATURE 811 code before you answer the call to display it, if it is at least flashing on your set.

Also, the default setting is to show CLID info only when nobody answers. You need to change that to say log all calls. That might help you a little.
 
For AA calls
after AA transfers, it displays the trunk name
(Transfer line 001)


"Need Name first"
When the lines ring directly at x 221 it displays caller ID number (630-555-1234)
Only after I answer the call can I press info and it toggles between
-caller id number(630-555-1234)
-caller id name(bob smith)
-line info (line 001)
 
i know i have it working. I am guessing that you either need to enable the display on the DNs for the voicemail or there is something wrong in the redirection setup from the voicemail.

ne1 is a shorthand for anyone, it only saves three keystrokes and sometimes causes some confusion
