Caller ID Name Display

I'm running a Definity G3si v11 system with a PRI. I have Caller ID with names present on the PRI, but on my 8410D phones all that displays in the LCD is CALL FROM on the first line and the incoming phone number on the second line. How can I get the name to show up in the LCD? Even if I have to program a button to show the name associated with the incoming number, I'd be happy to do that. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Make sure "send connected #" is turned on for the trunk group

I had the same problem when I switched to PRI. Make sure that "Send Name" is set to Y. Also, make sure that "US NI Delayed Calling Name Update" is set to Y. I am running G3R V10 and both of these settings are on page two of the trunk-group form.

Are you trying to get the name of internal or external callers?


If it is external callers you are trying to get the name of you should check with your telco they may not send that info.
