Hi,
I am trying to receive and display External Inbound caller id information. This forum provides a wealth of information but It's somewhat baffling to me to figure it out so:
in terms a "hack" such as myself can grasp, what can I do to get the PBX to receive and pass along the CLID?
1. Is my system capable of doing this? Do I need hardware? how do I find out?
2. What software switches do I need to set?

I need to decide if I can do it myself, or if its necessary to call a service company.
thanks in advance

I am trying to receive and display External Inbound caller id information. This forum provides a wealth of information but It's somewhat baffling to me to figure it out so:
I have a Comcast Fibre Optic T-1 delivering PRI service from a Ciena 170-3916-906 to an Adtran 900e, which then connects to an Adtran Atlas 500, which then connects to my Meridian 1. Comcast says they are letting the inbound CLID information pass, but I am not getting any.
When my M2250 attendant console gets outside calls it displays 3100, the last 4 of our main number. All the other display phones, like our 2616s, show 8-1 or 8-2. (I assume this is some trunk number or something.)in terms a "hack" such as myself can grasp, what can I do to get the PBX to receive and pass along the CLID?
1. Is my system capable of doing this? Do I need hardware? how do I find out?
2. What software switches do I need to set?
If it helps, I tried looking at my DCH status in LD 96, but it kept erroring out:>ld 96
