Hi,
I am trying to receive and display External Inbound caller id information. This forum provides a wealth of information but It's somewhat baffling to me to figure it out so:

I have a Comcast Fibre Optic T-1 delivering PRI service from a Ciena 170-3916-906 to an Adtran 900e, which then connects to an Adtran Atlas 500, which then connects to my Meridian 1. Comcast says they are letting the inbound CLID information pass, but I am not getting any.
When my M2250 attendant console gets outside calls it displays 3100, the last 4 of our main number. All the other display phones, like our 2616s, show 8-1 or 8-2. (I assume this is some trunk number or something.)

in terms a "hack" such as myself can grasp, what can I do to get the PBX to receive and pass along the CLID?
1. Is my system capable of doing this? Do I need hardware? how do I find out?
2. What software switches do I need to set?

If it helps, I tried looking at my DCH status in LD 96, but it kept erroring out:

>ld 96
DCH001
.
>stat
>
OVL013
dch
>
OVL013

I need to decide if I can do it myself, or if its necessary to call a service company.

thanks in advance

Oh Sad :(
I will prolly have to pay for ISDN Package huh? (if I can still get it, har har har)

So Comcast says it's delivering PRI. Is it getting downgraded through the Adtran devices?
Or are they blowing smoke up that proverbial place and all I am getting is one step up from analog?

No way in hell can you get the ISDN package for that old software. Time to upgrade.

I guess it all depends, how did you configure your loop - as DTI or PRI? I'm assuming you built it as DTI since you don't have the ISN package. Go to LD 60, stat your loop or LD 22 to prt your CEQU to see how you define your service to confirm. You're paying for PRI, but you built it out as DTI

Ok! I like it when the experts say Upgrade! means we can spend money (bwahahah!)
I will be looking into the STATs
Thanx again!
