Is there away to log the caller ID on a Magix system?

Magix 3.0 does not provide logging of Caller ID the way Partner does; i.e., there's no easy way for the phone user to scroll through a list of previous inbound Caller IDs.

but....

Caller ID is logged to SMDR. (You could publish SMDR on a web-page). And Caller ID is sent to Merlin Messaging, so callers who leave a message can have the Caller ID captured (Thus software displays can show the Caller ID.)

Didn't think so, thanks for the info.

I had a system set up with a Notbook computer to monitor Caller Id.

That worked pretty good.

ANY COMPUTER with a SERIAL PORT and a Communication program would do. It does not have to be fast at all.

Even a first generation IBM PC would do the job.
