I am a phone user and need some help. I need to be able to see my call logs on my 18D, not just the number of the incoming call but all answered and missed numbers. What do I need to tell my admin to enable on the ACS Rel 6? And what buttons do I need to have programmed on my 18d?

Thanks in advance for you help and have a great Holiday Season!!

You will need a Caller ID Logging (F23) button on your phone to review the call logs. In addition, the administrator needs to:

* have Call ID Log Answered Calls enabled for your extension, so you get the list of calls you have answered
* have Call ID Line Association assigned to let you receive unanswered caller ID on your station

Note that the ACS Rel 6 manual states:

If both Caller ID Log Line Association and Caller ID Log All Calls are used, all answered Caller ID calls and all unanswered Caller ID calls received at any extension on specific lines are logged. This combination can be assigned to a maximum of one extension per system.

You may want to download the ACS 6.0 manual from avaya.com and read the section on Caller ID Features (pages 8-18 through 8-26) because it is somewhat complicated.

System programing #317,#318,and #319 are needed to use Caller I.D to its fullest.
