Hello could someone please tell me if i can program a caller id log btn on a magix 4.0
the customer would like to see the last 10 calls that have come in if possible

thank you

Nope.

Unlike the Partner ACS, there is no caller ID logging feature on the Merlin Magix, however, SMDR records will show incoming telephone numbers.

If it ain't broke, I haven't fixed it yet.

If the system has an Avaya Merlin Messaging, and the caller leaves a message, the telephone number will be announced right before the message is played. I don't think that the Avaya Partner Messaging offers that.

If it ain't broke, I haven't fixed it yet.

You could also setup a NETWORKED laptop to monitor SMDR.

That way, any one on their network could look at the report.

The limitations are that the Communications Buffer (in Hyperterm, if you use that) can get full and stop making records.

That can be fixed if you choose to go that route.
