We recently changed from one provider to a different provider. Minus them not porting everything, it went well. One thing we noticed, is Caller ID, from the outside, does not display the name, only in less you put that call on hold. One you take that call off of hold, it shows the name with the number. Anything I should check, or take it to the carrier. I'm a bit stumped. Thanks.

verify that the NI2 dchannel programming has NDS in the RCAP.
The d-ch has to be disabled to make this change--------test in and out as soon as the change is made ---if telco isn't programmed correctly outgoing gets blocked
see below:

Fact: NDS
Fact: NI2
Fact: ISDN
Fact: Name Display

Symptom: Name display not working with NI2
Symptom: With NDS configured in the RCAP of the NI2 D channel, the CO rejects an outbound call.

Fix: The CO must have PCNALW and CNANALW configured. "Lucent switch has the 5.1 recent change view, the field PCN and CNA has to be set to ALLOW" (This ignores the name sent from the Meridian)
