we have about 11 phone numbers used at the base's clinic facility, that are all masked under one number when calling outbound to patients. however, the caller Id of a random name is showing up on the patient's phone when we reach out to them, since they're older they are reluctant to answer the phone because they aren't familiar with the name associated with the masked number we are calling from. how do I change the name associated with this public unknown number we use to contact customer's in asa cm6. I've tried everything.

Assuming you are going out PSTN PRI/CO circuits and not SIP. You will need to contact your carrier since caller id is a function of the carrier.

Contact your telco - and it gets weirder. There are multiple data bases for caller ID and it gets even more strange when you approach networks that allow NI2 Calling Names come across.

There is a chance it's the far end telco problem too - your carrier may have updated your name but others may be using cached or "alternate" data.
