Need help on this one.
On a few stations the caller ID display disappears after a couple of seconds. This is for both internal and incoming calls from outside. This problem only occurs an a few stations.
thanks

are they analog or digital sets? are they connected to a single card? have you tried terminating a set that is giving you problem to a known good port?

Did not try swapping to a known good port, will try that. The sets are digital, 74xx's 4 wire and 84xx's 2wire.

TN754 (4W digital) circuit packs only support caller ID to a certain number of phones simultaneously. I am not sure what the number is but if all 8 phones programmed to the same TN754 got simultaneous incoming calls, they would not all see the incoming caller ID. The only workaround is to change ports around amd combine lesser used phones with heavy used phones programmed on the same TN754 to balance the load.

they need to press their EXIT button on the display. they have the softmenu open.
