caller ID display

I'm posting on behalf of another user who is unable to log on. He has a BCM 400 with 3.7 software. When incoming calls ring to a phone, the person answering the call doesn't see the caller ID display until afer they answer the call. What does he need to do to see the caller ID before the call is answered? thank you on behalf of this other user.

On the extension's telco features - enable callerid to be displayed for the ringing target line

Also they can press FEATURE 811, this will show the incoming cli if it is presented.

Caller id delivery from DMS usually takes 2 ring cycles in the North American Market.
