Caller id cards

CI trunk cartridges will work with R1T1 software just fine. ;-) Of course they would be with regular Loop type trunks. MRoberts

Hey Guys,
Just thought I'd add my two cents... I've had mixed results with two different MICS with R1T1 over the past two days. I both cases they would not work at all; it allowed the CLID cards to be used as LS/DS cards, and I made sure verything was EXACTLY set properly, tested with a caller ID tester right at the blocks, allowed for FOUR rings to go through (way more than necessary), and even had a differnt tech look at both systems, and he said he sees this quite often with R1T1....Sometimes they just don't work, and if you look at the Norstar Compatibility matrix, which I am happy to furnish anyone who wants it, it says they aren't fully compatibe, dpending on which version of the CLID card you are using....
I don't mean to argue, but I'm frustrated with R1T1!

Maybe you just had a bad outta box card. I haven't had a problem with one yet regardless of software level.
But I will also say that if you have an option..... UPGRADE! For heaven's sake we are at 6.0. ;-) MRoberts
