I have a 61C - Release 24, Issue 25. In the last 2 months, we have been experiencing caller id blocked calls where you need to press *82 for our line to be identified. Our switch is not programmed for this nor do we have a PRI card in use. We have had our local provider remove the Caller ID Blocking feature from all our lines including the terminals they are associated with. I am posting the Net_Data and the RDB of the lines we believe are the correct ones we are dialing out on (we have had an independent vendor verify these lines on this RDB are the correct ones we dial out on). The local phone company translations tech tested dialing from one of our trunks through their switch and were able to place the call. I am totally new to the CDR & RDB and need assistance!

YOU DON'T HAPPEN TO HAVE MCI WORLDCOM FOR A LD VENDOR DO YOU

OLD ROLMEN WORKING ON NORTELS

Yes we do as a matter of fact.

When I use my test set on the TNs, I am able to dial straight through to the numbers we're having problems with so I am not sure if it is an MCI problem or something on our switch.

IT'S A MCI WORLDCOM PROBLEM, I'VE GONE THROUGH THIS WITH MCI WORLDCOM BEFORE. SOMETIMES WHEN YOU CALL OUT YOU GO OUT SOME ROUTES FROM MCI WORLDCOM THAT DO NOT TRANSFER THE CALLER ID, I NEVER GOT A RESEASON FROM MCI WORLDCOM. THE REASON I KNOW IS THAT I HAD MCI WORLDCOM ON MY HOME PHONE FOR LD AND MY DAUGHTER HAS A SERVICE THAT BLOCKS UNKNOWN NAME UNKOWN NUMBER CALLS FROM GETTING THROUGH UNLESS YOU ANNOUNCE YOUR NAME AND NUMBER.

LONG STORY MADE SHORT I WENT WITH SPRINT, PROBLEM FIXED

Thanks for the information :) I had a feeling it was MCI - I tried a different code besides 9 that we used to use in the past and it allows the calls to be placed without incident so am using that as a work-around method.
