Caller ID and a 3X8 norstar

Is it possible to get caller ID on a 3X8 and DR5 software? I did not think it was possible unless you had that external caller ID device. Even with Dr5 software. I have documentation on the external Caller Identification device and it mentions the compact and Modular both with Dr5 but not the 3X8. I would appreciated any help.

Because the 3x8 is so small, Nortel nicely built it in to the KSU. So you don't need any extra hardware for CLID on DR5. Just program it up and you're in business.

Look under line programming for call services. This is where you assign the auto call info set for each line. Brian Cox
