Caller ID Across a Line Side T1 2

Looking for a way to pass caller id across my lineside t1 card.

Setup:

Calls come into the pbx via PRI's but are night call forwarded to an answering service via the lineside t1 card (the card builds out 500 ports) that tie into the answering service phone system.

I don't think you are going to be able to do this with a lineside T1. You need to go PRI.

Would it be possible to install a CMOD/XCMC for CID info over analog station.

Part is NT5D60/80/81 “Class Modem Card” (32 ports per card). Requires Package CNUMB “332” or CNAME “333” which I have.

The NT5D60/80/81 cards provide the requested functionality over traditional analog stations. However the NTPs do not make reference to Lineside T1s being able to or not being able to do the same. The NTPs just state they are programmed as traditional analog stations.

note: Trying to make this happen while still retaining Lineside functionality.

You also need class ISM's I don't believe the hardware will support caller id. That is for nt8d09 and nt8d03 cards.

No CLID on 500 type phones.

yes there is if you have a class modem card and class ism licenses. Just not seen very often. The wierd thing on this one is that it is a T1 and I don't think this config would work for CLID

you would need a cls modem card.. then treat the "trunks" on the line side the same as any analog station with display enabled.. i helped a tech get it working on a bcm using a line side from a 61 with class modem cards
