Hello all;
I have a 400 and a 50 connected thru a vpn tunnel between sites. I can make calls, tranfer calls, and receive calls both ways. I CANNOT get any caller i.d. between sites, is there a way to do this WITHOUT an MCDN keycode?

Try to add the business name, I belive this is under global settings. I know you need this in order for the CID to work.

Thanks, but that will only send thru the name of the bcm the call is coming from...not who is calling.

MCDN is needed to transfer CLID from one site to another.

If I have the MCDN keycode @ both sites, can I send CLID without having a pri?

Yes CLID on cooper trunk will be transferred as well.

You need to enter the business name (leave a space at the end). Then you must enter the Private OLI for each extension.
When you call an extension on the other system it will show the Business name (a space) then the ext name. You will have to abbreviate the business name and ext name possibly.
I am not sure if external CID will pass if you transfer a call though, never really thought to check.

Yes, External CLID will pass, i thought that's what he wanted to achieve.
