Caller display on i/c ddi and attendant calls

a user wants to to be able to tell the difference on his display between a direct ddi call and an attendant transfered call.When the attendant transfers the call he gets a quick display "call from operator XXX" but then it shows the callers cli.
the user wants the "call from operator xxxx" to stay on the display.

Is this possible
system is 8500 running CM2.1 414

He said it worked on his old G3si rel 9
