I can't get this to work. I set up a application type. Menu with extension. When I dial the extension the call goes to directly to the mailbox of the user vs ring the extension. I.e. Please enter the 4 digit extenison of the person you wish to reach. I enter 5720. I get transfered to the mailbox for 5720 vs ring the station 5720.

Does 5720 have pbx ext 5720 in it's profile?

MM 3.1 with exchange.
Service pack 5 loaded.

I tried to xfer to a number of extensions with the same result. Call goes directly to the mailbox of the extension dialed vs dialing the extension.

I recorded a entry prompt and the only thing modified was menu options: set to menu with extension.

Are you sure you are going to the caller app ?

It doesn't say anything. From the time I enter the extension it takes about 3 sec to transfer to the mailbox.

So in the OHV you see where the caller app is entered and then the number that you dial but it does not say transferring to x ?

Not sure what OHV is. When I dial the extension that is associated with the app. I get the prompt that I recorded. "Please enter the 4 digit extension" There is a few seconds of dead air then I get the mailbox of the person I dialed. I bascally just get there personal greeting. It does not say transfering to "Name". I noticed another thing. When I use the names directory the call transfers properly to the extension however I here transfering to "Name greeting" then it will play the personal hold greeting if recorded then it transfers to the extension. Really weird. I didn't notice this at first as the user community did had not recorded the hold messages until recently.

operational history viewer is where you can see what is going on when you make the call it is in the mm program group.

Make sure the caller app is setup for menu with extension versus menu with mailbox. if you make a change to the caller app, make sure to redeploy it before testing it again.
