Hello,

We are having an issue going on so far in two different cell phones.
We are using the speed call form to specified a three digit number to forward a call from our Mitel box.

So people call in a DID then this DID is forward to a speed number that is calling a cell phone for our providers. The issue we are having is that when the call gets to the providers VM it will end.

Have some one had this issue before? is it something on our system? how can we fix this issue?

Currently using a Mitel 3300 v.9.0.3.15

How do you know the call ends?

I ask this because I have seen vmail messages receive dial tone when trunk supervision glitches. When the user retrieves vmail, the first message plays dial tone and the user thinks the voicemail hung up on them.

Call the forwarded number from a local phone and let it go to vmail. Do you hear the proper greeting?

Also, double check the speed dial number. Dial it from inside the mitel using the speed dial code and index number.

When I called from a cell phone I am able to get to the VM message no problem. From my local phones if I dial the forwared 3 digit number, the call is made to the right number but as soon as the VM is staring it hang up and the phone goes back to normal state witing to make another call. One thing we did is change one of the number to instead of dialing 9 to go out it will dial 8 which we have it setup to release a caller ID, this seems to resolve the problem. Still the question remains, what is blocking the called at a VM level so if the caller ID is unavaible it hangs up? This is new the number where working just fine then we start having this issue.
