Callback Function on VMPRO

Hi!

I have a customer who has asked if this feature is available on Avaya Vmpro:

He want to be able to call a number from his mobile, get a speak from VMPRO Saying "Please dial the number now", dial the number he wants to dial, and hang up. The system would then call him back on his cellphone and immidiately dial the number he entered.

(This will save on roaming costs)

Is this possible? Ive looked at the callback function, but i couldnt figure out if that is what i need?

He could do this with telecommuter
But then you use the phone manager telecommuter to dial the number

But maybe some one else knows a way to do this with vmpro

Wondering if a dummy extension, or DID, forwarded to a dial tone, perhaps with a pin off the main greeting??? Like an extension forwarded to an outside number where the outside number is just 9* pause. Or something like that.

I was thinking of the old Remote Access on the Magix where we would loop an extension to a trunk port, dial that looped extension, get a barrier code dial tone, enter it, followed by 9 and go. We did this for a few Magix customers with DID. Not sure if something similar could happen with this. I can try to test it here and let you know. Just a crazy workaround and I am only on my 3rd coffee!

Then you still make the call to the ipo
He want's the ipo to call him
You could add a GSM gateway with a number in the same bundle
Then you have cheap or free calls

Both the One-x client and the GSM gateway are possibilities, but its for workers travelling around the globe. I cant have a GSM gateway for each country. I could also do soemthing with sip lines, but the customer wants this.

Does it mean, that its basically not possible?

Only with phone manager telecommuter
So make a vpn connection with a laptop and dial
Then it dials you first and then the one you like to call
