call wont disconnect

Incoming call to a modem just sits open even when caller has disconnected line needs to be unpluged to reset

I recall something about "TONE TO CLEAR" can anyone help

Did you try new modem on that line make sure that it’s not a modem that is creating this trouble?

You can also plug in a normal set to see what happens.

the modem is built in to the kit its more a auto answering machine than modem a analogue set disconnects as normal
