Call waiting

I'm using feature 71 "Link" to switch call waiting.However If I do not answer the second my voicemail does not pick up. This refers to the CICS 4X16 and the flash2 VM.

if you are using telco provided call waiting and you don't flash hook (F,71) the call is never answered by the norstar system. There is no way for the flash 2 to answer the call for you.

Sounds like you need multiple lines and line hunting from the telco and not call waiting. Then set the Call Fwd No Answer settings in the KSU to go to the DN of the Flash.

As jsadd stated the Flash does not work with call waiting.
Noratel recomends that call waiting be removed from all lines when used with Startalk Flash. Good Luck!!
