Call Waiting

Hi,

Mitel3300 ICP Rls 9

Can anyone tell my how to disable call waiting warning tone on incoming calls. (DDI)

Basically the user is on a call and when an i/c ddi call comes in it flashes DDI Waiting and beeps in their ear so they miss some of the conversation.

My Customer is finding it a bit irritating even though its obviously a good facility, but not for a busy Doctors Surgery.

Disabling campon is one option but you do not say whether the campon is the issue or just the tone. Also Disabling campon will disable it for the entire system, not just the Doctors surgery.

Another option is to enable the COS option for "Campon Tone Security" in the COS of the destination set. This will eliminate the tone but still allow the campon. Other sets will continue to function normally.

Another thought, but not very practical I suppose, is to use the phone in speakerphone mode. Campon tones do not sound if the call is on speakerphone.
