How to I program the system to when I am talking on line 1, and receive a call (call waiting) to redirect that call to line 2?

You call the phone company, and ask them to program Line 1 to HUNT to Line 2
Hunting is the way to go on Merlin System, Line 1 to HUNT to Line 2, Line 2 HUNT to Line 3...ect
Call waiting is only ideal for a single line Phone, with one user, and one line, like home Phone service
You will also save on paying extra for call waiting every Month, as hunting is usually free.
