I have a customer that has an ACS in their home. They also subscribe to call waiting service from the LEC.
I have programmed a recall button on the multiline phones but they would like to access the call waiting feature from the S/L cordless phones. That is what they use most of the time during the day.
There is a flash button on the phone, but when it is pressed it pulls intercom dial tone. Is there a way to flash the line that they are talking on instead of putting the call they are on on hold and getting intercom dial tone?

If you program call-waiting, when they receive a call they will hear a single beep, when they then hit the flash-hook, call 1 will go on hold and they will pick up whatever line is ringing in. They can also use 68 with Line number from intercom dial tone to pick up on a line that is active or just 8 for an inactive line. Don't know if that's any help, Hope So! Thanks,

On a single line set, you have to do two things, not just one.

First, hit the flash to grab intercom dial tone, then dial #03 to flash the CO line.

It's a few extra keystrokes, but there's no way to directly flash the CO line from an analog set.

Thanks 392, That is just what I need. They will just have to live with the extra keystrokes.
