Call Waiting on M3902 1

User complains that if she's on an important call and wants to ignore the waiting call, the phone continues to give periodic call waiting tones (double beeps from the phone's speaker) and the waiting call never goes to voicemail.

CLS is set to SWA.

I tried changing CLS WTA to WTD, but the same thing happens. If I change HTD to HTA the call goes right to voicemail with no call waiting.

Is there a way to get a non-answered call waiting call to go to voicemail instead of continuing to ring until answered or caller hangs up? Any suggestions? Here's the TNB:

As from the other thread - "make sure that the CDB is set for opt CWRA (cfna treatment for call waiting calls on a DN allowed) Have you checked this?

Sorry, missed that.

Not experienced with the customer data block (vendor doesn't like me playing with that or bars/nars). LD 20 is my friend.

Where would I go to assure myself that CWRA is set?
 
Pint the CDB with either ld 22 or 21, I always pick the wrong one first. You can print the whole CDB and look at the Opt fields in the various fields, NET_DATA, ATT_DATA ect. I think it is part of the FTR_DATA.

DOH!! I follow directions to the letter.

Should be.....enter to OPT. type in CWRA(not D) Shaking my head.....why I didn't catch that.

Other than that, 3 stars for you today Splic3d! That was it. Thanks for the solution to my problem and the directions to implement it.
