Call Waiting, indicator?

If I’m on my first line i would like an indicator to notify me that my second line is ringing. Is this possible? Can it be done? How many options do I have? Note that this is a busy call center with a lot of background noise. A single beep might not be efficient for all my agents.

Any help would be greatly appreciated….

I'm assuming you mean a second directory number on a phone, not a second call coming in on call waiting.

You didn't state what version of Call Manager you have, but in 3.3(3), you can set different incoming call notification options individually on the directory number itself.

To set it for a specific phone, go to that phone in the CCM Administration, select the secondary directory number, and select your preference from the "Ring Setting (Phone Active)" option.
