I have some problems with call volume settings which results in basically having to adjust the handset volume every time I make or receive a call.

My phone is a DT700 SIP phone connected to an SV8500. That system is CCIS connected to an ICS2400, another CCIS goes to an IPS2000, I have a PRI connection to an Asterisk phone system, and I have many TDM phones (analog) on the SV8500.

First, the PRI connection to the Asterisk system is the loudest of all. Then sta-to-sta calls are less loud and outgoing trunk calls (via PRI) are the softest. When I call the voicemail (a PC server connected to the phone system via a 24DTI card), it doesn't match the volume of any of the above, so again, I have to adjust the volume on the handset.

I briefly looked into how to change the volume on trunks and found that ARTD CDN:30 had PAD, but when I changed that for the PRI, nothing changed. So basically, if somebody out there ever successfully adjusted volume, speak up please:

- how do you adjust on PRI?
- how do you adjust on CCIS?
- how do you adjust on 24DTI?
- how do you adjust on IP-PAD card (for sta-to-sta calls to analog lines)?

These questions are for SV8500 and ICS2400 (which should all be pretty much the same).

Thank you for the help
