I have a customer service rep that sits in amongst many other people. She has to raise her voice continuously for, I am assuming the elderly, disturbing others around her. The rep is using a plantronics headset and we have an NEAX 2000 IPS. I need advice on how I can amplify her voice through a device or switch setting to solve the problem. Thanks in advance.

Are they using an M10 or M12 amplifier with the plantronics headset? If not they should be. I know there is the polaris type that supposedly have built in amplification but in my opinion they are useless. Anyway on the side of the M10/M12 there is a cover that slides down and you will see a white adjustment wheel , this is the transmit volume adjustement. There usually is a little tool on the bottom of the amp box but a small flat head screwdriver works, also make sure the end of the voice tube is clear, I have seen the screen covered in god knows what and that will kill the volume.
