When a call comes in and I want to conference the call I hit the conference button then dial the next number to be added I then see on my screen trade calls or release me if I hit the conference button again I have all parties. If I hit the release me key, the two external parties stay on… Which I think you need to have the capability of, but could we control this via some sort of COR…and actually not let users do this….

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

Not conference? Is there not a COS option for conferencing you could remove in the sets CSO?

The single biggest problem with communications is the illusion that it has taken place.

System type is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT!!

I will assume 3300.

Users COS option for public trunk to public trunk connection is what controls the ability to create unsupervised conferences. Without this option, if the user leaves the conference, the outside parties are disconnected.

If you have an SX200 ignore above and post again.

Thank You you are exactly right. I remember why we had that option set to yes. We have a lot of analog centrex lines and we had to turn that option on to be able to transfer from the 3300. We have taken over a global account and have all COS's configured the same other than the site with centrex lines we can turn that option off on the rest of the controllers. Thanks for the responses.
