We have a problem with an external call transfer out of a Auto-Attendant to a cell phone.
When the call goes out you hear several rings before the the cell phone rings. After the caller hears about 5 rings the call drops and they hear "the call cannot be completed at this time". But the Cell phone rings only about two times and does not go to the Cell's voice mail. If she can get to the phone fast she can answer normally. But we want it to go through to voice mail on the cell if she cannot answer.
We have set up the call transfer out of call pilot several ways. We have set up dummy ACDs, Phantom DNS and direct dial on the Application with transfer to extension as 8xxxxxxx. But there is always a delay from the Call pilot ending in the message if she cannot answer fast.
If you dial the Phantom DN or ACD extension directly from a phone it works fine. It only fails on calls from call pilot. I feel it must have to do with how the TNs for call pilot are setup as opposed to a normal TN. Here is the config of one of these TNs. What could cause a delay until the cell phone rings.
