Call Transfer Interrupted by New Incoming Call

Hello, Have an issue where the front desk receives a call and when they try and transfer it’s interrupted by another incoming call. They are using a 8851 so I guess they are losing the transfer softkey when that new calls comes in. Is there a fix to this? Thanks

Sounds like the busy trigger and the maximimun number of calls on the line appearance are probably both set to 2.
When the second call comes in there is no spare line for the transfe

Increasing the maximum number of calls but leaving the busy trigger as is should fix the issue.
 
Its either what thepfy said or i am thinking of when a new incoming call comes in, that call is basically "brought to the front" and you just need to shift the screen back to your original call. I do believe theres a way to disable that but off the top of my head i am drawing a blank as to what its called.
