I have a caller application that is a menu of choices.

choice 1 transfers to extension of a hunt group.

This hunt group covers to an answer group and one of the extensions in the cover answer group uses ec500.

If the ec500 user answers the call Modular Messaging immediately disconnects the call. I know its MM because if you call hte hunt group directly the ec500 call bridges up no problem. As soon as you route through MM it disconnects. I have the lead numbe to the caller app setup as a vdn with a messaging vector.

Any idea on what to look at here? I have tried changing COS in MM, changing the COR on all stations and trunks involved, changing ec500 to cover remote....

what version of mm and what type of ports to the mm from the pbx?

mm 5.2 and SIP trunks. I have taken MM out of the mix and converted the menu to a vector and it works fine now.

I am sure that it has something to do with the SIP invite on the transferred call.

Are you using SIP trunks from the Tel-co as well ?

I have seen sometimes where the SIP will re invite the call on a transfer and it drops it as it has already been invited.

SIP trunks are between MM and CM only. PRI from telco
