Is there any way to program a Call Transfer Disconnect in a call forward stream? Call Transfer Disconnect, as you all probably know, is where you get a feature from your provider to do a flashook, dial a number, hang up and have the call on there system and not tie up two lines on your system for the call. I know on Nortel you can program a sequence in the number being dialed to automatically activate this feature. Did not know if partner could do the same and did not know what the key sequence might be.

Thanks, anyone have an idea how I could do this if it is not possible to program the sequence.

thanks again,

Not as a Call Forward.

However, you can program a speed dial button as Flash, Pause, and the telephone number, but of course you have to actually be on the call to press the button, wait for the dialing sequence to finish and the call begin to ring at the distant end, and then hang up.

Some Auto Attendants have the option of Centrex Transfer being assigned to a Selector Code, so the caller can press a single digit, the voicemail will flash, pause, dial the Centrex number you specified, pause, flash, pause, and then disconnect.

But remember, when lines have Call Transfer Disconnect activating Call Forwarding still requires you do it a second time, IF the line is busy or no answer to complete the activation the feature on 5ESS or DMS switches...
