Call server ip address suddenly changed

I'm maintaining a CS 1000E 6.00R. The customer had the pbx go offline, all IP phones lost communication with the pbx. Some time spent with my company engineer discovered the IP Addresses on the active and inactive call server defaulted to the Nortel public IP Addresses that come out of the box. The engineer grabbed the inet.db file from a backup and inserted into the current backup folder to restore on a sysload.
Has anyone else experienced this?

I've known similar problems with the 32 port Media cards that had a Compact Flash card installed.

I'm guessing that your processors are the CPPM models?.
